Design Your Career; Enrich your Life!
When I first began in the area of innovation, design thinking and creativity training it was difficult to convince people that there are new skills to help us solve problems more creatively. Most would say that nurses are already smart people! They already know how to think! Now I believe people understand that there are certain types of tools such as "design thinking" that can help us learn the innovator mindset and techniques to help us make quicker and more sustainable progress within our lives and careers. There are a lot of creative processes out there these days that help us drive innovation. Simply put, you likely use design thinking processes all the time but are likely unaware of the complex thinking process of your highly functioning brain!
This mini-course explores three creative frameworks (design thinking, divergence and convergence, and creative problem solving) that are central to producing new ideas or transforming old ideas into new innovations.
